In 1880, Margaret Steiff sewed her first toy, the little felt elephant.

Their first teddy bear was designed by Richard Steiff and added to the Steiff range in 1902. 

Today Steiff produce a superb range of bears and animals in mohair and alpaca for collectors.

Steiff's baby safe range are suitable from birth and are machine washable, as are their range of plush bears and animals for children.
