Gustav Teddy Bear

From the Steiff Designer Choice Collection - Gustav Klimt Teddy Bear.

Gustav's design is inspired by Klimt's Tree of Life painting  done in 1909 and gives a nod to the Art Nouveau Movement of 1862 - 1918.
He is fully jointed, and made from the finest quality gold silk and embellished with elaborate ornaments inspired by the motif of the tree if life which is wrapped around his body. 
His leg pads are different - one is a gold colour with a real cork overlay and the other is covered with goldn sequins. 
Eyes are black and gold and nose and mouth a hand stitched with a gold colored thread.
